Scary Movie - Scary Movie 2 - Scary Movie 3 - Scary Movie 4

When it comes to the Scary Movie’s you know what to expect – either you’re going to like them, or you’re not.
I'll say right now that my favourite part of every movie was the script. I feel as if I can probably post several lines or conversations for each movie, however, I've decided to limit it to my absolute favourite from each.

Scary Movie
2000 – 2.7/5

I really don’t think any other spoof movie has been as good as any of the Scary Movies. It has a lot of adult humor. Not only does it make fun of other movies, it incorporates current events.
There was a good mix of characters. It’s obvious that they’re supposed to be stupid otherwise it wouldn’t be a spoof.
I think that the best part of all the Scary Movie’s was the script; it was funny and very clever.

Buffy: Oh my god, we hit a boot.
Greg: Where’s the foot?

Scary Movie 2
2001 - 2.9/5

I have to say that I like this one more than the first. I liked the storyline more, and like the first, the script was solid. It had the same set of characters as the first one, and again, they all did a good job. The butler (Hanson) was creepy; his hand was even creepier!

Hanson: My germs!

Scary Movie 3
2003 - 3.1/5

Out of all the Scary Movie’s this one is my favourite. Up until 50 minutes, it was REALLY good, but once the President was introduced, it wasn’t as funny.
I feel as if these movies hold nothing back; they will practically say anything! There were a few times in which I thought "did they really just go there?".
I absolutely LOVED the very first scene with Becca and Kate (Pam Anderson and Jenny McCarthy).

George: I gotta dream.
Tom: What is your dream.
George: To have a dream.

George: Would, could, should, 'hood.

Brenda: I just got a weird feeling something bad is headed my way; like when you see an Asian person behind the wheel of a car.

Brenda: Cindy, the TV is leaking.

George: Now everybody in the 202, throw your hands in the air 'cause Fat Joe is through / Now everybody in the 202, throw 'em up! Check it out / I'm a white boy, but my neck is red / I put Miracle Whip on my Wonder Bread / My face is pale, nah, I've never been in jail / Me and Buffy spend every winter at Vail / How many bitches have I slapped? Zero. Unh! / And Martha Stewart happens to be my hero / I grew up on a farm and I was born with no rhythm / Dr. Phil's my uncle and I like to hang with him / I can't dance / I wear khaki pants / My middle name's Lance / My Grandma's from France / So maybe I'm wack / 'Cause my skin ain't black / But you can't talk smack / 'Cause whitey just struck back.

Scary Movie 4
2006 - 2.6/5

I thought it was pretty good, but once the spoof of War of Worlds started, it went downhill from there.
The conversation between the Japanese Ghost Boy and Cindy was hilarious! Cindy speaks “Japanese” very well.

Cindy: Hello?
Cindy: "Harro?" ---Hello
Cindy: "Hibachi, Benihana, Teriyaki" ---Do You Live Here?
Ghost Boy: "Nagasaki, Okinawa, Hokkaido, Yokohama" --- Your Japanese is Awful. It dishonors my ears
Cindy: "Karate, Judo, Sumo, Samurai" --- Are You a Ghost?
Ghost Boy: "Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Subaru" ---Yes. I was Killed and my soul walks the earth!
Cindy: "Hari-kiri, Tsunami, Kamikaze, Banzai" --- How Sad. My Life is also Tragic.
Ghost Boy: "Yamaha, Nikon, Casio, Aiwa" --- You Mistake me For Someone who gives a Shit.
Ghost Boy: "Minolta, Hitachi, Seiko, Toshiba" --- I Know the secret of defeating the aliens.
Cindy: "Buddha! Shitake Kimono!" --- My God! Tell Me!
Ghost Boy: "Tempura, Shushi, Sashimi!" --- The Answer is within my father's heart! Follow the blood!
