Hope is Real. Help is Real. Rescue is Possible.
Love is the Movement.

This is an organization that I've been supporting for over 5 years now and it is my favourite international non-profit. When I heard of the movie rumours a few years ago, I was incredibly excited. The movie came out earlier this month, and I'm finally sitting down to watch it. I don't really know what to expect from the movie, but I'd be lying if I said I went in with no expectations.

Well casted.
Unique plot.
Great visuals.
Creative editing.
Diverse soundtrack.
Overall, a beautiful movie.

Appropriate Behavior

More so wanted to see this because it had an Iranian lead. With that being said... I didn't really care for the plot or the characters. Eh. Wasn't a fan of the Iranian portion of the cast.

Playing It Cool

2014 - 0.5/5

It seems as if the director was trying to make a Rom-Com movie that was different than the others before it. I will say that it had a few different aspects to it (neither the male and female leads had names), but looking at the big picture, it follows the same highs and lows as every other one.

The most realistic aspect of this movie, in terms of "how love really is", was Chris Evans friend Mallory and how she said she loved him, but nothing came of it.

A young, shirtless Ryan Phillippe! I am in!!!

For a movie that is set in a club 90% of the time, it is pretty entertaining. I mean this in the sense that you think you’d get tired of the same setting. It doesn’t matter and it’s not an issue because this movie is character driven.

I had to do a double take when I realized which character Mike Myers was. I did not recognize the guy. He did a great job!

Great soundtrack – I downloaded Knock On Wood; super catchy!
